Got a last minute call up to help in the Changi Simei RoadRun at Bedok Reservoir. Roped in the sidekick and the Princess and off we went. Weather was great after the earlier rain.
This has got to be the cheapest race in the history of Singapore. $3.00 and participants get to run, timing, goodie bag, baggage and isotonic and plain water

that my high school track shorts decided to lose their elasticity. So, my mile repeats entailed run, run, run, pull up the shorts that are even double rolled at the waist. Pretty... good. And I met a fellow rider...we chatted as we rode hills. Made the time go by. And then home for an easy 15 min t-run.
After some restless sleep and emational distress

a few days off this week from running. Originally, it was only going to be a 3-day break, but somehow turned into 6. ;-) (Really needed the time off, so it was no big deal.) I ended up not running at all Monday-Friday, & instead running 6.85 mi on Saturday & 14.2 miles on Sunday. Not a typical schedule that I'd normally recommend to others

I've spent a good amount of time on I-95 in the past year. Being cramped
