For this example, I just chose Swine Flu. The map is powered by Google.
The US leads the way with 65 alerts, Mexico with 26 alerts as of this screenshot. BD

Ushahidi and discovered how far this web-based mapping tool has come now with associated applications Crowdmap and SwiftRiver . Most recently it is being used to map the events... in a specific area for up to six hours ...".
Its about time that the cuts - whether public libraries, health services, municipal councils etc - are mapped using the likes of Ushahidi

Here's the local scene, for those who might be interested. Check out things in your own community.
Volunteers from Boston have already begun mapping the roads and rivers, but now they need your help to add details of street names

Map for the NSU and back 50 miler

If I have done it right, below is a link to MapMyRun.com in which I have mapped out the Turkey to NSU and back run for this Saturday night. According to Mapmyrun, it is 51.5... of the main parking lot at Turkey Mountain at 9:00 pm, and leave at 9:15. We will go north on the new paved trail on the west side of the river and go to 11th St, cross the bridge
