Even though it was dark, I went down and did a few sprints on the golf course tonight. It was cold out, but it was quiet and still. It felt good to be surrounded by nature and little other noise.

Safe Passing Bill Passes in Texas Senate

The Bicycle Sport Shop blog is reporting that the Texas Senate passed the Safe Passing bill on a 28-2 vote. The bill requires driver to give 3 feet distance to cyclists when passing and has been the main legislative objective of BikeTexas this session. The bill had been stuck in committee due to long, drawn out floor session fight over the Voter ID bill
