I’m leaving for Toronto tonight and won’t be back until Monday night, so forgive me my absence over the weekend. But for today, let’s look at daikon. Watermelon Radish
Recently we made a salad with shrimp on the grill and I whipped up some balsamic vinaigrette. I had sliced up some of my fresh watermelon radish I got from my csa but I have never been never a huge radish fan so I was trying to figure out something creative to do with them rather than use them raw on a salad. Today was week 6 for my CSA veggies from KYV Farms but I haven't had a chance to make a recipe plan so we'll just have to wing it. I can't wait to try the beets, mainly because I haven't liked them when I've ordered them in restaurants but I'm told I will like them fresh so I want to see if I really am a beet person after all.
Since I wa ...
