Steve slept on the couch so Ainsley could sleep in our bed. She has to sleep with her head elevated for the first 2 nights. Her crib doesn't have enough space to do that. Frontalis Sling Surgery - 72 Hours Post Surgery by Susan Patient Expert Posted Mon 18 Jun 2012 3:06pm Ainsley 72 hours post-surgery. There is still a fair amount of swelling. Her lids are thick. That makes it difficult to judge the outcome of the surgery. My gut is telling me that her resting position isn't going to be as high as the surgeon thought. We just visited with Dr. Brain, who said the procedure went very well. He mentioned they were able to remove the whole tumor. The tumor was located on the motor strip for the left side of her body.
