Not sure why, but my ankle (left, same side as the bum knee) has decided to swell up. I'm not sure if this is because the knee is injured or if the knee being crooked is making the ankle itself more unstable? It's about 30% larger than normal. This ankle pops a lot also, even when it's not swollen. So hmmmmm.

to swell up to more than 110 percent of their size. This can make your shoes feel tight and your feet hurt.
The best way to prevent swelling is to elevate your feet. The next best way is to move your feet and toes frequently while you are sitting or standing. This can reduce swelling by more than 50 percent and will usually prevent the pain that it causes

how good oral steoids are working. ankle swollen, hoping and praying i dont have to go back to hospital. does anyone know what is happening to me. doctors dont know...

I WANT TO THROW A TEMPER TANTRUM. MY ANKLE IS STILL HURTING WHILE I RUN. TODAY WHILE RUNNING ( on the dreadmill) I WAS IN PAIN.... UNTIL ABOUT MILE 2.8, THEN OUT OF THE BLUE, POP.... FOR REAL, IT WAS LIKE A POP, OR SNAP OF THE ANKLE, THEN THE REMAINING 1.2 MILES I RAN PAIN FREE. W-T-H- PAIN FREE? AFTER A POP?... NOT SURE WHY, BUT I DID.

Squash and Ham Hock.
Based on a recipe from Cooking Light it combines penne with a creamy béchamel, sweet acorn squash and my twist – cooked smoked ham hock meat.
