, the Eat a Peach Ride was another ride that was sponsored by the cycling club at work :) Set in hilly Carrol County, MD, this ride is notorious for the relentless hills. A coworker.... 2 peaches (fresh or frozen)
1 - 2 bananas, frozen
1 C water (more if using frozen peaches)
ample sprinkle stevia
Process ingredients in a VitaMix (or other high speed blender) to a smooth, drinkable texture (add water as needed).

Ontario peaches are ripe and ready for eating. I have made 20 jars of jam so far and thought I would try my hand at canning peaches as well this year. It's a bit time consuming but I think it will be worth it in the dead of winter when we enjoy fresh-like peaches. I am sure they will taste way better than canned peaches from the store

A couple of days ago, I bought a half dozen peaches, with no idea what I’d be doing with them. Although I wanted to make something incredible, something original… they ripened too quickly for me to think of other ideas, so I just made a peach crisp, using the same recipe as my Mom’s rhubarb crisp!

I have peaches on my mind - and in my stomach - today. I mentioned before that we have three boxes of peaches that were delivered Wednesday from Colorado, and they are absolutely delicious! Surprisingly, the Western slope of Colorado is a great place to grow peaches, and this year the growing season was ideal.

Recipe adapted from Cooking Light, July 2004.
3 cups chopped peeled peaches (about 1 1/2 lbs.)
1 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup sugar
Pinch of kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon....) bone-in center-cut pork chops (about 1/2-inch thick), trimmed
6 peaches, halved and pitted
Cooking spray
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil

I love peaches! This morning I heated them in my oatmeal with my 1/2 banana. It was so sweet and delicious! I mixed the usual: 1/3 c. oats, 1/4 c. wheat and oat bran with the fruit. I microwaved it all for 1 min. and added extra berries. I ate it at school, otherwise I would have added a little yogurt.
