What is “Partially successful” or “Partially failed” thrombolysis ?

contradictory to the general logic !
It is estimated a substantial number of STEMI patients following thrombolysis fall into a category of partially successful thrombolysis implying partial restoration of blood flow and salvage. The correct definition for successful thrombolysis and reperfusion should be at the myocardial mass level

This image (from Yahoo News) is a diagram of the tissues transplanted in the French partial face transplant last week. Check out the slide show. This was very cool.
What would be even more cool would be to see video of the patient speaking at 3 months post-op. We will see.

The French partial face transplant patient by report is doing pretty well. Here’s an image of her. She has started smoking again. I wonder if her transplanted tissue will make it past the bad effects of the smoking. We will see.
