Speaking with other women, it becomes obvious very quickly that we tend to know very little about our ovaries. Hopefully, I will shed some light on this ...

To shoot or not to shoot -- that is the question. I was on Lupron for a year and then went to Depo Provera (as an add-back kind of therapy to help with the pain). I am past... with it). I am stuck between a rock and a hard place because the endometriosis and bowel symptoms on the right side are just sometimes really tough to bear. I do know the painRead on »

Well hopefully you know where they are… but do you know how they are?
I haven’t talked about ovaries for a while (remember that time I skyped with Kelly Ripa... and ovary ultrasound … and since Dr. Oz got a colonoscopy on his show and Bob & Tom do their prostate exams on the air, I figured I might as well document my check up with a vlog

: She was first diagnosed in 1994 and was found to have a large pelvic mass, which at surgery was an 8x10 cm carcinoid arising in the left ovary. There was no evidence of spread..., but there's a good reason for that: because the carcinoid rising in the ovary gives hormonal products — serotonin and the other products that it makes — directly into the systemic
