Good Evening!
I have survived the sleepover and a birthday party and now am getting ready to teach my new 6:00am class at Balance Yoga tomorrow. I am a morning person but this may be a bit early for even me so I shall see how it all works out tomorrow.
It has been a fantastic day of eats and I have a couple recipes that I can't wait t ...

Summertime, and the livin' is easy... (and the reading is too) I found myself with three books on my summer review stack that are all set around beaches along the east coast. From a Florida barrier island, to Charleston County, South Carolina, then continuing north up to Maryland, these books are light reads, perfect for lugging along to the be ...

This roasted squash orzo salad was way better than I thought it was going to be. When I was trying to think about what to have for a side dish to go with the fish I was making for John and Hallie, I knew I wanted to use butternut squash. After glancing at my produce drawer, I quickly saw I needed to use a few straggling summer squash and z ...

My first real item to bring to a potluck was “Dirt”. If you know what the dessert “Dirt” then you know this was r ...

Another salad, hurrah! I was going to share a photo essay of my trip to the Philippines today but my 2500 dollar computer decided it didn’t want to import any more photos. Oh and the ones it did? Turn black when I click on them. They are fine on the screen, but then black when I click them? I want to throw this out the window. Dear Apple, if yo ...

Maybe Minnesota has too much Norweigen influence and prefers lefse over orzo but once I finally tracked some down, the hope of finding a whole-grain version was long gone. As long as I left the store with orzo, I would worry about fitting in whole-grains later.
I wanted to c ...
