Hi there-
I am a 31 yr old Australian female who has just completed a 10 day in home detox from an 18 month usage of (over) prescribed opiates.
I am just becoming stronger now & more positive. It is the best thing I have ever done, extremely emowering & I feel like I have my life back again.

capture the misery experienced by the withdrawing opiate addict. I suspect a ‘kindling’ effect in opiate withdrawal where symptoms become more and more severe each time withdrawal... for opiate receptors to normalize to a degree that avoids naltrexone-induced withdrawal. Another problem is that the addict can ‘choose to use’ by simply skipping a day or two
