You do need Omega 3s. Good news is the fish oil doesn't seem to be contaminated (yet!). I have heard that the liver oil is not a particularly notorious place for heavy metals to be stored--tends to get more into the meat, and don't for get that FARMED FISH

Thank God that through the kindness of 2 church friends, Arthur Koh and another friend, I am able to take Omega-3 fish oil supplements on a regular basis. Omega-3 fish oil is said to help with bipolar disorder. I read some information and book on this subject. I believe Omega-3 fish oil will help my condition to improve in the long run

Despite my rants in this blog and elsewhere, at least once a day I'll have a patient say, "I cut back (or eliminated) my fish oil because I get my omega-3s from _______ (insert your choice of flaxseed oil, walnuts, yogurt, mayonnaise, bread, etc.)."

If you take a person with ADHD, put them on omega 3 fish oil, and the start to improve, then that tells you they need the fat.
My dentist has ADHD. He asks me about... every day.
He and his staff noticed a huge difference in his attitude. They were happy about this improvement and now make sure he does take his fish oil every day.
