Alberto Contador was in Paris yesterday, at the invitation of l’Equipe, with his brother and PR man Francisco, and his director sportif Alain Gallopin.

I think this is the first dimmer-friendly CFL bulb you can buy in the UK. It's certainly the first I've seen. Known as the DorS bulb, it's on sale as a five-pack for a mighty pricey £73 over at Ecoelectricals, and is made by Megaman (see the PDF here ). Since it uses 11W compared to old 60-100W bulbs, this is one big money and carbon saver
