Today is the New York marathon. Good luck to all the runners and any jogglers that might be doing it too. I haven’t heard from anyone specifically but each year there are 1 or 2 that joggle.

Paula Radcliffe showed that she's back in form after her disappointing Beijing Olympics by winning the ten-mile BUPA Great South Run in a time of 51:11.

The New York Marathon was run yesterday with runners from all over the world racing to be the best endurance athlete in the city for one day. Carbonfund.org's own Jason Fitzgerald ran in yesterdays race and finished 234th (out of 37,000!) with a time of 2 hours 44 minutes and 38 seconds. I guess I spoke too soon this morning! After tons of criticism that this was not the time for a race, Mayor Michael Bloomberg called off the The New York City Marathon due to the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.

It’s a well-known fact around this site that I am not a runner. I’ve tried. I go through spells where I get inspired and run for cardio .
