and people had no idea children could have strokes. Having cared for children with disabilities in two large hospital programs, several of kids I saw had had strokes. The youngest... such a marked change when he was a boy with such promise.

31, 2010 — Parental stroke before the age of 65 years is associated with a 3-fold increased risk for stroke in offspring, according to new data from the Framingham Heart Study... Seshadri Sudha Seshadri, MD, with Boston University in Massachusetts, told Medscape Neurology.
