Vascular dementia is the most common form of dementia after Alzheimer's Disease. Also called "Multi-Infarc Dementia", Vascular dementia effects between 15 - 35% of all the persons with dementia.
So how is it different than the other forms of dementia?

The Vascular Birthmarks Clinic have decided that no further investigative imaging would be helpful in Violet's case.
They do not recommend at this stage, any vascular laser surgery, as her vascular malformations are too widespread and would require several laser treatments, also taking into consideration all her other medical problems.
