Oh boy. Yesterday & the day before I was sooooo nauseous. You know, on the verge of tossing your cookies, but never quite there. The first day I took an activated charcoal & it took the nausea away very quickly & lasted about 2-3 hours. I took it yesterday and it didn't do squat. You can't take it within 2 hours of taking supplements, meds

Longterm Nausea & Lethargy

I just read in my blog archives that I had 2 weeks of nausea from the last surgery and am thinking that might be the case this time too.
UGH.
I have this all over feeling of lethargy and nausea. It sucks.
I have not been able to find any information via the web about long term nausea after anesthesia.
Has anyone else had this problem

Mon 24 Jan 2011 2:03amNausea can make you feel miserable. Unfortunately several things can trigger it off. Nausea may be caused by infections or medications. To help manage nausea and vomiting... vomiting this helps. Avoid drinking fluids with meals.
To relieve nausea, try dry toast, plain biscuits and cereal as these are are often easy to keep down.

Exciting announcement yesterday that there is a new product called Sancuso which is an anti nausea PATCH that works for up to 5 days to control nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy. It has been approved by the FDA for use in the United States.
