In non-typical fashion, I did my run this morning. Right from the beginning my legs were stiff and flat. I prefer not to run in the morning, my legs tend to be tight and I'd rather have an all day warm up to avoid injury.

The last blog entry I wrote, I did so in a hurry and did not proof it, or 'do my REVISION stage' as Gavin calls it in his own writer's workshop. When did first graders learn about REVISION??? Anyway, as I re-read it, I had to laugh at my own haste and the following sentence:

The undistinguished garden hose has been one of my favorite teaching props of late. I like to imagine that well-being flows freely through our bodies, like water... it.
Or,
(b) Health and well-being are flowing continuously through me and when I don't feel good, I immediately look for the resistance, alter my course, and allow well-being to flow

. It took me a long time to figure out he was saying, "weak" instead of "week." Either way it is an uplifting and encouraging song to begin in which to begin the week especially if you are feeling weak. Enjoy!!

ten year old often tells me he wants to be strong just like me when he grows up. To him, I am strong even I feel weak because I won’t show my children my weaknesses... point in our lives, see ourselves as weak and other times, as strong. Living with two chronic pain conditions means my strength is tested on a daily basis. I am not always strong
