My son just told me about this community. I have recently joined a gym to lose weight as I am morbidly obese (BMI 42.7) and need to make some long overdue changes.
I have started a blog called "Diary of a morbidly obese woman joins at gym" at www.morbidlyobeseandchanging.wordpress.com in the hope it will help me stay accountable and be encouraged

There I said it, yes, I'm morbidly obese and I have been for a long time. I'm doing alot to change this. And this time I'm not looking for a quick fix. No magical diet... considered Morbidly Obese, this conversation comes in the wake of a conversation that we had Yesturday.
