My son just told me about this community. I have recently joined a gym to lose weight as I am morbidly obese (BMI 42.7) and need to make some long overdue changes.
I have started a blog called "Diary of a morbidly obese woman joins at gym" at www.morbidlyobeseandchanging.wordpress.com in the hope it will help me stay accountable and be encouraged

There I said it, yes, I'm morbidly obese and I have been for a long time. I'm doing alot to change this. And this time I'm not looking for a quick fix. No magical diet, no secret tricks, just changing my eating habits and working out.
So anyways this came up because we're talking at work and we start talking about how I'm doing...I tell the ladies
