Meditation before martial arts training by Diana .. Posted Wed 13 Aug 2008 7:11am I am not sure if any of you are involved in martial arts (I currently take Combat Hapkido). I find that in this system - which is primarily self-defense - it is important to spend a bit of time meditating before class in order to be affective and to learn how to channel the Chi energy.
