Good morning!

Half Marathon Training Schedule

This is my training schedule for the Disney Princess Half Marathon I am running in March, 2010. I have 27weeks to prepare.
Please note the following things about this schedule -
the small numbers are miles run, the large numbers are cross-training minutes
I am only scheduling 4 days a week, but hope to add 1-2 cross-training sessions a week

I always feel like I have to start these kinds of posts with a bit of a history lesson. I know if I saw some running lunatic post a training schedule like this I’d assume... skip over this link history. New readers… just know if you asked me 2 years ago if I would ever run or want to run a marathon I’d say maybe, 5 years ago I’d say you were crazy

My Marathon Training Schedule (Base Form)

did tick down. Soon I was passing the Excalibur on the way back. I could see the 13 mile mark. I picked up speed as I neared the Finish Line. I told my co-runners... Half-Marathon (Inaugral).
I am using a combination of schedules to get to where I need to be. It is an intermediate Schedule with the Galloway Method. I run for 6 1/2 to 7

Over the past three years, many people have asked me about what is involved in marathon training. This week’s workout schedule was/is as follows:
Monday: 5 mile run
Tuesday: 60 min. Spinning class
Wednesday: 5 mile run/walk with Emily
Thursday: 7 mile run
Friday: Class at the Gym or Off Day
Saturday: 11 mile run with Brady
Sunday: 3 mile recovery run
October 18th will be here before I know it!!
