I just discovered a new site (new to me...) that I think is so cool! http://www.mapmyrun.com/ will map out your run or walk and tell you how far it is.
This felt like WAY more than just 1.5 miles... and it was really hilly. My heart rate was up to 181 bpm!!

This handy website helps you create new running... like 177 miles.
Map your own run by entering your starting location, then clicking and dragging as you see fit. It's really that easy. And you can search for runs, too

Here I am mapping out a run for our running group's Saturday long run. No one really wants to run 24 with me so I came up with a 16 mile option. At the end of the 16 miles I can just keep running on trails all the way home for 8 more miles to equal my 24. Sounds like a good plan!
Then I realized... the meeting place for our run is 2.3 miles

Mountains and Cleveland National Forest. I could step out of my house and run up to Santiago Peak and back to my door if I were so inclined.

Sat 18 Oct 2008 2:34pmMy sister recently discovered the site, RunningMap.com & mentioned it me, so I thought I'd likewise pass along the resource to all of you.
I was curious to see how the route mapping features differed from the existing site that I use, RunningAHEAD.com. After walking through the site's tutorial, I noticed that the mapping features are a tad bit
