Sun 28 Sep 2008 9:33pmLymphedema is condition of localized fluid retention due to the inability of the lymphatic system to properly remove excess fluid from that region. Because breast cancer patients often have the lymph nodes under the arm removed as a part of their cancer treatment strategy, they are susceptible to developing lymphedema in that arm.

My silly lymphedema arm is so sore and achy today... and I have no one to blame but myself. I am not doing the required stretching exercises as I should be.
I found this YouTube video that offers me the motivation I need. It has arm exercises toward the end.

hand and arm, however, because I suspect that lymphedema is setting in. My left hand has been swollen a lot more than my right hand, and it is not returning to normal, as are my... notice the swelling gets pretty intense. I am only concerned about my left arm, the one with the missing lymph nodes, which is in danger of developing lymphedema.
