Lichen Planus - A Review

The name likely comes from the appearance of the lesion which resembles that of a lichen. A lichen is a symbiotic organism composed of an algae and fungi.

think there's been major drama in my life due to lichen sclerosus but it does sound a lot worse than it really is and perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones that isn't as affected...:National Support Group

AND the general public, so please let me know things that you want to hear about. That being said, have you heard of lichen planus? If not, you are not alone!
Lichen planus..., and there is no evidence that it is related to any form of skin cancer. This is not a hereditary disease, though some members of the same family can get it. Lichen planus can appear anywhere

Finally...the bugs are out and about, flying around. And two nights ago, I came across a moth I'd never seen before. The picture doesn't quite do it justice, as it was the prettiest green, lichen coloured, that makes the perfect camouflage on lichen covered trees. Just a little update

static. Not much change except that now my PT is telling me I have to go get a biopsy done for a skin condition called Lichen sclerosis. I haven't had a chance to read too much... pretty much get any knot out of the muscle.
I will post again soon explaining this lichen sclerosis when I have a little more info on it.
