Squat, working up to a max single
Romanian Deadlift 4 x 8-10
Hanging Leg Lifts 4 x max reps
Working up to a max single in the squat can take a while and a lot out of you, so I have a hard time doing more than two assistance exercises. Hitting the posterior chain (calves, hammies, glutes, back) and the abs is the key to improving your squat

I missed yesterday's squat workout due to a cold so today I had to make up for that without burning myself out before a weekend of max effort madness! Here is the workout I did:
AM
Mobility Work, 10 mins
Dynamic Warm-up, 10 mins
Body Weight Glute Work, 10 mins (bridges, bird dog, single leg bridges, fire hydrants)

Zercher Squat, work up to a max single, don't be afraid to fail!
Barbell Complex, 4 rounds, 3-4 minutes rest between sets
reverse lunge x 8
high pull x 8
stiff leg deadlift x 10
barbell roll-out x 10
barbell hip thrust x 10

Max Effort Squat Workout

Today we did a simple but brutally hard max effort squat workout. We just kept adding weight until each of us failed in the lift. I think we did about 10 sets total each... right now with a back off period coming shortly.
Reverse Band Squat, working up to a max single
Stiff Leg Deadlifts paired with Combat Twists, 4 x 5-8

Max Effort Bench Day
2 Board Bench Press, start very light with low reps and slowly work out to the most weight you can press for a single.
Incline Dumbbell Press 4 x 10 paired with Pull-ups 32 reps total
