I can't tell you how many people mention that they suffer from legcramps, usually calf cramps, in bed at night. If you suffer from these nocturnal legcramps, you aren't alone at all.

. Painful muscle cramps at night can also be caused by nerve damage such as that caused by pinching a nerve, muscle damage, a partially-obstructed flow of blood to the legs... cramps in exercisers is lack of salt.
The Food and Drug Administration has ruled that none of the over-the-counter drugs used to treat night-time legcramps are recognized

Last night, a woman in class asked for any ideas to help with night time foot and lower legcramps. Here are a few ideas that got tossed around, and a special thanks to Janet and Sylvia for coming up with some interesting suggestions.
To prevent cramps:
1. Massage the lower legs and feet before going to bed and upon waking in the morning.
