After finishing my first Half Marathon , I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what running has taught me. I’ve realized that things I’ve learned from running apply not only to running but to everything I do in life. Because of running, I now know that I will be successful in everything I choose to do in life.

it slow to just keep contant pace going. I feel good, and at the end I was all glowy with sweat and the nice sheen of salt. HAWTNESS.
I actually feel beautiful after a nice run.
During today's run I listened to the Get Your Geek On podcast from early 2006 for newbies. It really made me feel good. This podcast made me feel like it was produced just for me

In The Competitive Runner' s Handbook (by Bob Glover and Shelly-lynn Florence Glover, Penguin Books, 1999), the authors talk about running in the heat and they use this interesting formula. They say if the sum of the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit and the percentage of the humidity is more than 150, don' t run, or run with caution.
