When the family gets together for Thanksgiving and Christmas, one of the things I make is a seven-layer salad. It is always a hit and quickly consumed!
Following is how..., green onion, and peas. Next combine mayonnaise and sugar and spread over the top of salad, sealing the edges. For the final layers, sprinkle cheese and bacon over the top. Serves

Oh...so simple and Oh...so tasty!
From Bottom Up - Layer the following:
(Use amounts that fit your dish)
Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
Fresh Chopped Celery
Thawed (previously frozen) Green Peas
Light Mayonnaise (A thin layer over the three layers you already have and a sprinkle of paprika)

I was introduced with seven layer salad few years back. I served it in many of my summer time dinner parties and every time it gets lot of appreciation from the guests... according to taste

I don't know about you, but the idea of eating cloned food makes me kind of squeamish. The idea of eating what was once one and then became two and is now a sausage, is kind of hard to consume, little lone eat!

An intriguing recipe I enjoyed making. I had never done polenta before and did not realize how easy it was to make. My toddler kept on stealing it as I was finishing it up. Think of this dish as a a cross between a lasagna and a "empadão" - a mashed potato layered with meat sauce.
