Avascular necrosis at its finest. You'll notice that the knee on the right is MUCH larger than the one on the left. And yes, its painful.

My knee has been feeling pretty good. I am able to walk moderate distances, but this sometimes causes pain later. At least I can do it without feeling queasy!
