onion juice with twice the amount of honey also gives relief from cough.
Honey mixed with grape juice is also very beneficial.

last Monday. Today Zoe coughed and cleared her throat ALL day!!! I looked in her nose...there is quite a bit of junk in there. I think Tuesday I will make her an ENT appt. She hasn't had a sinus x-ray or ct scan in a while, I think it is time. Wouldn't it be awesome if her cough cough throat clearing was all chalked up to sinuses?? I don't know though

these for cough suppression.
I find menthol to be soothing for my throat, reduces some coughs, and a decongestant for my nose, so I use them when I have a cold (which is now.) My choice... a mucous membrane, for soothing and protection); dyclonine (an oral anesthetic); benzocaine (an oral anesthetic); dextromethorphan (cough suppressant). The herbs listed on the label

I really hate getting sick. It throws everything off balance. I use home remedies, hot shower, hot wash cloth on my sinus area, humidifier and a warm room.
