Ok, so, I'm back to running the Catalina 50-miler on Jan. 12. I can't get away with squat around here, not with ultra-running studs like Robo and Robert heaping shovels-full of dung on my weak-legged excuse to bow out.

I've really got it bad. For the past 18 months or so hubby and I have been so good with money. We have paid off a bunch (okay 3) credit cards. We have paid off 2 car loans. We have not spent any extravagant money on anything. We have been so stinking good it hurts.

Last Saturday as I was getting Mike into bed and he felt a "little" warm, but nothing to be crazed about. Much to my surprise, he had a 103.3 fever. I also noticed that he... on Saturday. children would be diagnosed with Cat Scratch Fever, or “Bartonella”. Today we saw our LLMD, who the little guy now calls, “Dr. Cheeseburger”. I don't know what's going through our house, but man, my kids are really sick. Chloee missed school all last week. She had a constant fever, and body aches, and a cough... is the only one who can't have a flu shot in the family, because he is allergic to eggs.
