, an insectbite using ICD-9 is shown on the superbill as "919.4 Insectbite". (Thanks to an anonymous reader for the clarification that there are 18 ICD-9 insectbite codes of which 16 are specific to a particular body site and two are not).
Want to do the same thing using ICD-10? Here are your choices:

Not an insectbite. But a sickness bug. I've been wondering over the past week the source of my sore throat that comes and goes. The "allergy" like feelings I've been having (I don't have any allergies that I know of). And not to forget the recent breathing issues while running. As children we thought this was just a saying. Little did we know that bedbugs actually exist... EEK! Bedbugs are small brown bugs with flat oval-shaped shells. They hide... and are currently making a comeback with the increased rate of international travel.

in many other places in the house. That is what makes them so difficult to detect.
A BedBugbite can cause itching and sometimes even red welts or swelling, but by the time... rid of the little blood suckers as well.
