I haven't rollerbladed since I was 11, but it's something that Joey and I have been talking about as of late. Yesterday we checked out some skates at a sporting store and I think I'm going to go for it! I figure it's a good purchase and an excuse for me to be more active. A few months ago I took Kayla roller skating for the first time .
A few weeks ago we went for just the 3rd time. Oh my goodness. The improvement was amazing!
Now she is not full out roller skating going around the rink at a regular pace - but the difference from the first time she was on skates was noticeable.

can say it was a rush to get back our and roller skate again. As we all started skating, we realized how long it was for all of us.
Our counselors came with us too, and even... gotten the skating rink rented to just us for a whole hour. Group picture time came up. Some of us had to catch others to take the picture because it was hard to stop on roller

Kayla's never even been on roller skates before - so what fun would that be if she couldn't participate?
Um, hello!? What was I thinking? Or not thinking as the case may be.

and the rest of the family roller skating. It took a while to get my legs after at least 30 years of not having skates on. But I did pretty well. The family as a whole really enjoyed... daughter was the same way and was off on her own just skating away. Sounds like we will be doing a lot more skating in the future. I think my legs were more tired from skating
