somewhere along the lines that inlineskating was a fast-fading sport, at least on a general fitness level around home. And to be honest, I even believed it for a time too. I haven't rollerbladed since I was 11, but it's something that Joey and I have been talking about as of late. Yesterday we checked out some skates at a sporting store and I think I'm going to go for it! I figure it's a good purchase and an excuse for me to be more active. Increase aerobic capacity. Try alternating one minute of hard skating in a tuck position with one minute of skating in an upright, relaxed position
It's easy on your joints. It causes less than 50% of the impact stress to your knees, hips, or ankles, compared to running

the time you spend inlineskating, get skates that are comfortable and built well
Build from components. To buy a custom speed skate, consider picking each component yourself...Aggressive skates. These are durable recreational skates with small wheels and grind plates to protect the skate when doing aggressive stunts

Got this from DH today. Would you do the same to help make your baby braver and stronger?
BTW, I just fell on my inlineskate very badly. Twisted my right knee. It is swelling now. I guess I will have to rest a few days. No skating for a while! Maybe I should be given the rituals above when I was a baby, to help me stronger? Hahahaha!
