An article in USA Today on 1/24/11 by Nanci Hellmich reports that the FDA declared HCG weight loss products fraudulent and illegal. According to the agency, there is no evidence that oral over-the-counter HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) products are effective for weight loss.
