to the clinic again - Isabel’s turn. She has caught a cold. I took the opportunity to ask the doctor again about Ian’s injury. So I learnt a new term - Impetigo.
Apparently this Impetigo is a common skin infection amongst kids 2-6 years old. The cause of it is bacteria Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pyogenes.

So I'm pleased to report that my spots have reduced dramatically, however I'm now suffering from impetigo on my face - specifically a crack down the side of my nose that is SO sore and crusty. I've also got cold sores that have spread across my top lip overnight.
Die off has a lot to answer for.

Earlier this week I was notified that a child in Jonathon's class has Impetigo. I was really hoping Jonathon would not end up sick. No such luck.
Thursday... this morning and got him in. It's not Impetigo. Thank goodness. He has strep throat. Thats why he was vomiting and running a fever. Makes me think back a few more days

Are there any spots on her hands? If so, it could be impetigo, which I would predict very common in her living conditions.
