We had our third hearing test this week with the Audiologist. She did an ABR (auditory brainstem response test) that requires the baby be sleeping with different monitors... but with little ears these are hard to place so they may recommend baby hearing aids until tubes can be placed so he doesn't miss out on any speech development. We learned a little more medical information about Malachi. On wed. the told us that he has failed his hearing test. That was a HUGE... on. This morning I got a phone call from his case worker, and they decided to give him another hearing test. Guess what? HE PASSED!!!! Yet another HUGE mountian that God choose to move. I

for the next couple of year to make sure her hearing continues to develop normally.
I also took Amaya for her barium-swallow test this morning. She wasn't easily tricked into thinking...
... was today and she did great! It seems like the hearing loss that she experienced earlier this year was mostly due to the fluid accumulation behind her ear drum

?" I'll take that as a really great sign that things are better. The hearing aid ear is so/so. I don't think that there's a big change in that ear since we last had it tested... for now. now. These are tones so high that although they test for them, these tones rarely actually occur and by adulthood most people can't hear them. There is no way to predict how... asleep.
She continues to have no hearing response in her left ear, nothing at all. I knew it was an incredibly long shot, but I had been holding out some now-crushed hope

Do online hearing tests work? Has anyone else taken one, or more than one? Does anyone find them confusing to use?
I've got hearing loss, the one test that picked this up but was also easiest to use (and free) can be found on the following link.

Failed our hearing test

Not so much because Kara can't hear, but her cold obviously has given her an ear infection and fluid on her ears. So she tested with a mild hearing deficit. She will be seeing her pediatrician on Thursday.
Both Kara and Amanda go back in two months for another test.

Violet had hearing test today, which went quite well. They are unable to test individual ears at this age, as her attention span would not be suitable for this kind of test until she is around 3 1/2.
The tests they did perform today showed she did have overall good hearing. But due to the whole left side of her body being asymmetrical, they think
