A 68 yo female with a history of HTN on metoprolol and of paroxysmal atrial fib presented with weakness. This is her ECG.
There is sinus bradycardia at a rate of about 55... in a p-wave.
She was also found to be hypothyroid.

I relaxed last night and had about 8 pints of beer, 3 large ice cream cones, some ripple chips and onion dip and watched UFC, then got to bed around 1:30 am.

sotalol worked a little too wellcausing the ventricular bradycardia (slow heart beat) resulting in the pacemaker.

The AED shows a very temporary sinus bradycardia (slow heart beat) at about 40. While I was checking his blood pressure, it went back up to normal... enough fluids to replace all the ones he was urinating out. Add to that, the chicken meal he ate on board.
