“Family Night” started our first year of marriage in our tiny one bedroom apartment right around Christmas time. We were so excited about decorating our first Christmas tree and made a big whoop-to-doo about it. We had a special meal on our china and spent forever decorating the tree. We even had a special “lighting of the tree” ceremon ...

Q. My 6 year old son has been toilet trained since he was 3, but he still wears pull-ups at night. We've tried to limit how much he drinks at night and all kinds of bribes, but nothing has worked. I'm considering taking the pull-up away to see if this will motivate him. Any suggestions?

Off to Boston again this week to see Dr. Steinman and be tethered to the Beth Israel hospital for them to collect at 24 hour urine sample. It's an odd thing, really, to be at a hospital all day for no other reason than to have people collect your pee. And sometimes I'm the only person on the floor, which means everybody is there for me and my ...

It was a gorgeous day on the Front Range, and we spent it puttering around the house and working on the bar and hit a few yard sales and the flea market earlier... Last night was a great nig ...

It started innocently enough. Fluffy flakes drifting lazily to the bare ground.
Then, a few began to stick.
Now, the wind has picked up, and it's really starting to snow...
(damn you, Starbucks, and your yummy new Blonde roasts, for screwing with my steely resolve to only drink home-brew)

water. h20 the big splash, call it what you will but water is essential to your life.
It's actually best in to think of water as flowing because that is what you want it to do for your body and your health. You want water to be the river of health that cleans out the waste and refreshes the body.
Depending on your body and and circumstances ...

And not just because of what you are thinking (as if my mother dying weren’t enough).
My day started out great – I’ve been in a good mood, I haven’t cried in two whole days (tears in my eyes don’t count) – I even tweeted that I was smiling.
But it seemed The Gods of March 2009 decided to give us one more kick in the ass before leaving f ...

These are my personal symptoms. While they can vary, many of my fellow Conn's sufferers have complained of these.
1) Fog: I'm in a constant state of fog. That's the best way I can describe my current state of being. It's been like this for a long time now...can't really remember when it started. I feel like I'm just going through the motions b ...
