During the process of healing, scar tissue can form along the incisions and also within the breast (fat necrosis.) Your body usually improves this scar tissue in a process called scar remodeling over the course of the first year to 18 months

I started BHRT--my breasts were painful, and so cystic I often worried that a cancerous lump would go undetected by exam, so I started having mammograms at 35. my phone rings, but I'm in the middle of teaching a Zumba class so I didn't hear it ring. I check my voicemail and it's the breast surgeon confirming what the radiologist had... doubts I'll get the guy, but if by chance I do just ask for the lady.
Sure enough as we walk in there he is, fairly young, nice looking guy in scrubs, he could play a doctor on TV
