My Hydrocephalus was caused by not getting the medicine to keep the swelling down after brain surgery to have a tumor removed. Mine is considered acquired hydrocephalus.

Hydrocephalus is a condition in which excessive amounts of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) accumulate in the brain. This can cause pressure that injures the brain tissues. Hydrocephalus is believed to affect one in 500 children, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Adults over age 60 also are especially vulnerable to this condition

to go to the hospital for yet another surgery, but WHEN. That is the cold hard reality of what these kids and everyone with Hydrocephalus has to deal with. That culture of despair...
