I think I'm swimming in my sleep now. The little sleep I'm getting, that is. Last night's training swim took me an hour and 20 minutes to complete. Back and forth and back and forth and back and repeat. This morning in our coach's weekly email we were told that we should register for the 1 mile swim at the Aqua Challenge at Lake Del Valle

did half an hour.
I forgot how much I love to swim, and can you believe it is a great calorie burner? Not only that but after the brutality of running on my ankles, legs... to see how many calories you’re burning while doing a variety of exercises.
For me, at 135 pounds, it says that half an hour of swimming can burn over 200 calories! I’m not sure

I had an awesome talk with MY coach. Yes, it makes me feel special to say that! :) We talked about my need to swimswimswim... I got my first 6 week cycle... The "SWIM Cycle" this weekend. Damn it's hard to coordinate swimming. :) Running.. no problemo strap on some shoes put on a good sports bra (well, and a few other non-essential items

OK, this may not seem like a lot of fun but for a certain type of swimmer the idea of watching the old movie Jaws followed by a midnight swim does have a certain appeal.
If you think this idea sounds crazy and you' d never try something so daft, you might just enjoy watching others as they combine their weekly masters swim workout with a movie

Join a Masters Team. Most communities have a ‘Masters' team for adults who want to improve their swimming skills. You don't have to be a ‘master' to join!

I decided to turn my alarm off at 6:15 am and go back to sleep. I figured I'd do my swim in the evening.
After I woke up and checked my workout schedule, I... out of time to do the entire swim. I decided to move the swim to tomorrow morning and give my chest one more day of rest.
I got my totals from last weeks training.
