Starting today, I want to get myself focused on my goals.
First goal is to lose weight - I really only need to lose 5 lbs by Christmas. How hard could that be? If you ever tried losing weight, you know it can be monumental.
I also want to eat healthier to support this goal.

To be successful at losing weight, you need a goal plus a plan.
For example:
Goal - I would like to lose 5 lbs in the first month.
Plan - Each day I will work on dealing directly with feelings that cause me to overeat.

Week one is almost complete, and I've lost 4 lbs so far. If I can drop one more pound by tomorrow I will have met my goal. What I'm trying to do is lose about 5 lbs. every week. That's pretty reasonable. I really just want to get back to where I was before.

Well today is a bad day for me - I have been putting off going to weigh because I knew what it was going to say. I gained 5 lbs. I knew all of the bad eating I have been doing over the past few weeks was going to catch up with me! I will admit it this week has been the hardest for in the last few months. All I have done for the past week is eat (I have not been to the gym since Tuesday the 23rd) and I cannot stop! Today I went for my 2 week weigh in and I already knew I had not lost anything in the last few weeks, you can just tell, so I was holding my breath when I got on the scale and low and behold I have maintained the 277 lbs from over 2 weeks ago WOW! Over at Renee's site she's having a little 6 week challenge and I've joined it. The plan is to lose 5 lbs by Labor Day. Since I forgot to weight myself yesterday I weighed this morning and that's where I'm starting. So 5 lbs would take me down to 158. I'd really like to hit 155 so maybe I'll secretly shoot for that.....
