(Jay Robb, I want you, but I still can't justify spending the m ...

I get asked a lot about the different raw and vegan protein powders on the market, so I thought I'd write a post reviewing them. As I wrote here about protein and pregnancy, I'm not a subscriber to the idea that we need a lot of protein in general. However, I do like the idea of pregnant women and kids getting more protein, as needed. Also, I am ...

Although I don't normally subscribe to people getting lots of protein in their diets, there are two groups that I believe should get a little more - pregnant moms and growing children. OK if you haven’t worked this out from my blog yet I like hemp – it’s all wonderful sparkly forms. I’ve been using hemp protein powders for years added to smoothies and food, but I’m aware there’s a lot of other options on the market. So I thought I’d try a few and see if I still like hemp as much. I’ve used a different one for a week each.

Pretty much any hemp product is a super food for me for all the good fats, fiber, complete protein, nutrients, and are so darn easy to work with compared to other seeds and nuts. Hemp seeds are one of my favorite recipe ingredients . But hemp protein powder is another staple in my kitchen and currently the protein powder I use most in smoothies ...
