The first five minutes were tough, as usual, but the rest was cake. I threw in a few sprints in there every once in a while just to make it tougher. Good run. Read on »

For the last few runs I’ve been going right at nightfall. While the lower temperature is nice I have to pay for it with more bugs and spiderwebs. It gets pretty gross. Read on »

Hal Higdon’s Marathon Training, week 17, day 1 by Kirk .. Patient Expert Posted Tue 14 Oct 2008 5:15pm 44 minutes. I got back on the trail for the first time in a long time. Felt good to be back. I had hip issues for the first five minutes but that cleared up for the most part afterwards. Otherwise nothing to report really. Good run. Only six more training runs to go.
