in class), my teacher went over the difference between a goal and an objective. Goals are generally more broad, such as be the best runner ever. Objectives are more specific... and find a way to cope with the stress and do my best.
My goals for January were: - Run up to 5 miles without stopping- Run up to 6 miles without stopping- Lose 8 pounds

Well, it was that time of year where we set Carter's yearly goals. He did a good job in achieving most of the goals that were set for him when he first came out of the NICU because....well.....he's amazing!
I just barely signed the paperwork to confirm the goals. One of them was...."will sit unassisted".

Looking ahead, here's my next tier of running & race-training goals:
(1) From December to June, follow BTHR plan. (5K-->half-marathon training). Through the winter...) By June 2008, enter 8 & 10K races.
(4) By October 2008, enter half-marathon races.
After reaching the first set of goals, I'll see where I am on the calendar. If necessary
