It's hard to find a flattering pair of shorts - they're either too long or too short or are snug in the wrong places. I rarely do high-impact exercise in shorts, but when I do, I like shorts that have a relaxed fit in the lower hem like Reebok's training shorts. Depending on what you're looking for, you might want yoga/Pilates-style pants for low-impact exercise and mat work, running pants for more support and cling, or looser, more breathable pants for walking and hiking. Look for a pair of pants that doesn't cling to the wrong places - I have a hard time finding good yoga pants, since many of them are boot-cut

Choose a good hat, either a brimmed one that can cover your neck if you're walking or hiking, or a baseball cap that helps to shield your face and eyes and fits comfortably snug on your head.
