Zach Gets His White Belt!

Yesterday he tested for his very first belt and he was SO excited. One of the exercises they have to follow before they can get their belt is to write a letter of appreciation.... He was SO happy and SO proud of himself when he got his white belt - he wanted to know if would be ok if he slept with it. :)

Prior to today I only had one way to measure the belt tension of my Gates Carbon Drive ,
with the Gates Krikit Belt Tension Gauge. When running a belt drive, it is crucial to have proper belt tension.
Recently I saw on Ecovelo blog that Gates came out with an app for the iPhone for their carbon drive belts that included a belt tension gauge

That is the question (for this morning).
In every half or full that I've run up to this point, I wear my own water belt. I'm thinking I might just rely on aid stations this time around (just carry my Gu).
