It’s a big HEART day tomorrow. We’ll find out lots of information. I am nervous. I hate the stress test. They plug my nose (because I get a pulmonary stress test) and I have to breathe through a tube while I do a cardio wo ...

Clap Your Hands!!
I took this picture of Garrett clapping recently at a Wiggles Show. I was reminded it of it today while we were bowling...in our living room, nonetheless. I hit only 4 of the pins on my first try. But, Garrett turned and looked at me with a look of complete amazement at my "accomplishment" and started clapping. So sw ...

Today, I went to have Echocardiogram done. I’m home safe now.

The test went as follows: I was hooked up to an EKG machine, then given a Echo-cardiogram [ultrasound of my heart

Finally, we have something that we can write off for another 6 to 9 months!
Hannah had her echocardiogram and EKG done. Her EKG looked normal, and her echocardiogram... of thickness. Hannah’s aorta is 1.80 cm — just 0.03 larger than the high end of normal! It also has not increased since the last echocardiogram done 6 months ago.
This is great news

likely” has nothing to do with her Gaucher’s Disease, but we need to deal with it anyway.
She is having a sedated echocardiogram tomorrow morning.
I’m very anxious about it. I... serious, it can be monitored for the first few years of life to see if it will close on its own.
So Tuesday AM is the sedated echocardiogram and Wednesday AM is the consultation

A fetal echocardiogram today showed a beautiful heart, chambers, valves, arches, veins all beautiful. How much we've learnt about cardiology in the last year, how easily we kept up with the hour long analysis of every aspect of the workings of the heart. Just wonderful. So delighted Jason could be there this time to see our baby in motion. It's

Lucy has been admitted back into the hospital to get the fluid around her lungs under control with IV diuretics. The intravenous dosage will be more effective and much quicker. The question is why is she having such a difficult time with recovery and what is the underlying factor causing the excess fluid. An echocardiogram will show
